As a camera and lens enthusiast, I like to play with gear for no particular reason. Just because of the fun of it. Some time ago I read an article on “The Online Photographer” (very recommendable site, BTW) that deals with restricting yourself to one camera and one lens for one year (The Leica as Teacher). As fascinating I find this idea, I am sure that I would not be able to do that and limit myself like this – not even with a Leica. But then Hagen Ueberfuhr’s site has given me an idea: I will start to take photos with one lens per week and write a blog on that project. The photos I will upload to Flickr as well. I hope that I will have the endurance to keep it up. It’s going to be hard in winter. Now, let’s set up the list for the next weeks…

Oh well… I have to admit that I was not able to stay caught-up with my project. My daily job, which after all pays the bills for my family and me, has not granted me enough time to keep on track. Thus, the project will have to change into something like “a-lens-every-several-weeks-or-months-and-some-other-posts-in-the-meantime-thing”. Sorry about that!
